SSL at the California Seaweed Festival

Members of the Sunflower Star Laboratory Board will be in Humboldt County for the 5th Annual California Seaweed festival.

The California Seaweed Festival is an in-person, family-friendly non-profit event celebrating the seaweed diversity of California and held in a different California coastal location each year. The festival showcases seaweed uses and applications in art, cooking, farming, science, sustainable technology and conservation through booths, exhibits, workshops, demonstrations, galleries and hands-on activities. Social events allow seaweed enthusiasts from all sectors to connect with one another. Tours provide an opportunity to see seaweeds in their habitats and in commercial operations. And a video archive preserves a portion of each festival's content for the future. https://californiaseaweedfestival.org/

Come see us at our booth 9:30am-5pm on Saturday 10/19/24 at the Wharfinger Building on the Eureka Waterfront.
